We are proud to be partnering with Uniting to bring essential resilience training focused on ensuring credit professionals are equipped to manage stressful situations.
Uniting’s Strengthening Resilience courses have been designed by a clinical psychologist to guide professionals, particularly those working in customer facing roles, to recognise their strengths, respond to difficult situations and create strategies to protect their personal wellbeing.
Uniting's approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, building on positive business culture and delivering appropriate and effective interactions with clients.
The Building Resilience course is designed for people leaders to support themselves and others.
Programs
Session 1: Wellbeing + Resilience
For credit professionals
Designed to provide pre-incident training for staff
to build resilience to stress, foster group cohesion for fellow worker support, develop positive thinking to help prevent stress and build staff members’ abilities
to cope, recover and thrive in the event of a stressful incident.
Staff will develop their own self-care plans to use in
the event of stressful situations.
Topics include:
- Introduction to wellbeing and resilience
- Building self-confidence
- Develop positive thinking
- Build abilities to cope and recover in stressful situations

Session 2: Building Resilience
For people leaders
Designed to introduce understanding and skills in debriefing staff after a stressful incident, with ongoing coaching mechanisms geared to build staff resilience over time.
The program covers how leaders can manage an incident and provide appropriate debriefing, including extensive practice and coaching. The purpose is to assist with managing and stabilising situations and to position management as a support for staff moving forward.
Topics include:
- Influential communication
- Develop ongoing coaching mechanisms
- Build mechanisms to help build resilience over time
